I tried in Win7 with Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 (Build 14912), and it worked fine.

Install AutoCAD.
Visit this page:
Select your desired language. Then install it.
When you install the program, a folder named autocad will be created. Open that folder.
Open "activate".exe file.
Enter Serial number and click on "OK".

I am trying to overlay some graphics on top of the Image using PHP GD library. I have a very simple solution that I am trying to refine, but its failing.
I am successfully capturing the image:
$img = imagecreatefrompng($_GET['filename']);
Then I have a function that draws some additional data on the canvas and performs some other processing:

$canvas = imagecreatetruecolor($width, $height);
$black = imagecolorallocate($canvas, 0, 0, 0);
$white = imagecolorallocate($canvas, 255, 255, 255);
imagefill($canvas, 0, 0, $black);
